Wherever you are located, the people and resources of the University of Oklahoma Libraries are here to support your studies.
To get started, go to the OU Libraries website, click the Login button in the upper right corner of the home page, and enter your OU 4x4 and password. Logging in allows you to create a customized My Favorites page with your preferred online resources, quickly request items via SoonerExpress and Interlibrary Loan, and more!
Getting Help
- Ask Us is your first step for getting support with your library needs. You can also schedule an appointment with a resource librarian if you need help locating sources for a specific subject.
- The Lean Library browser extension enables seamless access to OU Libraries online resources when searching on the open web by authenticating OU access to full-text articles and journals that the libraries subscribe to. Lean Library also connects you to the library's interlibrary loan request forms for articles that the libraries do not have full-text access to.
Writing Support

Writers at all levels should seek out feedback about their work. The OU Writing Center hosts a variety of development opportunities and individual consultations for graduate writers. The Writing Center's experienced writing consultants can help guide you through the pre-writing, drafting, and revision processes. They assist with various tasks and concerns, including:

Tutor.com
All OU Online students have access to Tutor.com's online tutoring service and writing center. This service offers:
- On-demand access to live tutors 24/7 in a wide array of subjects
- A drop-off writing center that guarantees a 12-hour turn-around time for feedback
- 24/7 live support through the online writing center
- Features like screen sharing, chat, voice, and video communication within tutoring sessions
- Mobile app access so students can connect with tutors on any device

Instructors in the EdD program encourage you to take advantage of these resources. The sooner you start your writing project and engage in meaningful conversation with others, the better your final product will be!
APA Style & Citation Information

- This page contains sample papers formatted in seventh edition APA Style. The sample papers show the format that students should use to submit a paper to an instructor for a course assignment. You can download the Word files to use as templates and edit them as needed for the purposes of your own papers.
- The American Psychology Association (APA) Blog is an excellent general resource for APA formatting and updates.
- PowerNotes is a browser extension that allows you to annotate and highlight PDFs and webpages that are relevant to your research.
